  • What is a chiropractor?

    A chiropractor is a health care provider that specializes in the treatment of conditions affecting the neuromusculoskeletal system. They treat conditions related to nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. 

  • What do chiropractors treat?

    Some common conditions that chiropractors treat are headaches, neck pain, back pain, extremity pain and sciatica. They also treat people who are involved in motor vehicle accidents as well as sports injuries and other traumatic injuries. They treat people who experience prolonged sitting or standing due to job requirements. 

  • What is a chiropractic adjustment?

    An adjustment is a high velocity low amplitude thrust to a specific spinal segment. The purpose of the adjustment is to move a specific joint that is restricted. Spinal restrictions can cause a decrease in range of motion and an increase in pain. The adjustment helps to restore proper joint range of motion and in turn decreases pain. 

  • Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?

    Chiropractic adjustments very rarely cause discomfort. Some patients may experience a slight soreness the following day that typically goes away in 24-48 hours.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    We are currently in network with BCBS, UHC, Cigna and Medicare. We are working hard to get in network with Aetna and we will update you as soon as we get approval. 

  • Will treatment be ongoing?

    Our goal is to get you out of pain and back to doing what you love as quickly as possible. In rare cases, certain conditions require more long term treatment options. However, in most cases once you are pain free and back to your desired level of activity you will be released from care.

  • Can I see a chiropractor if I'm pregnant?

    Yes, chiropractic care is a safe and effective treatment option to treat pregnancy related lower back pain. There is an alternate way to adjust pregnant women safely and effectively to keep pressure off of the stomach. Pregnancy is extremely difficult on the body and can cause a lot of pain and discomfort in the lower back and hips. These are common issues that can be treated by a chiropractor.

  • Can Chiropractors perform Sports Physicals?
